What exactly are natural flavors? Why are they used?Updated 2 months ago

MegaFood uses natural flavoring only when a product would otherwise be unpalatable, such as with multivitamin gummies. We work hard to ensure that the natural flavors we use are derived from vegetarian and Non-GMO sources and do not contain any of the Top 9 Allergens: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat, soy and sesame. While we are unable to provide a breakdown of all ingredients that may be present in our natural flavors, as they are considered proprietary to the flavor ingredient manufacturers, we can work to rule out additional allergens on an as-needed basis.
